Fundraisers

We carefully select our fundraisers, looking for things that give the greatest value back to the school, but also give value to those who choose to participate in that fundraiser.  We do two major fundraisers each year – a Jog-a-thon in Late Spring and the Byrom Benefit early Spring.  Through these fundraisers we raise nearly 80% of the funds used by the PSO to support its programs.

We also have some smaller fundraisers throughout the year.  Participation is not required, but we offer them in hopes that you will find something of value to you, for a reasonable price, and the school gets something back.

JOG-A-THON
The Jog-a-thon is generally held on a Friday early in the school year. Friends and family can pledge a per lap dollar amount to encourage their child to run as much as they can, or they can simply pledge a flat amount. The first $15,000 raised goes into the general PSO fund, and anything above that may be directed towards a particular purpose that will be announced prior to the Jog-a-thon. It’s a great day for the kids and they feel like they are doing something positive to help their school.

AUCTION
Volunteers, donations, class projects, and themed baskets are a huge part of making this event successful! With dinner, live & silent auctions, dancing and more this is a PARTY NOT TO BE MISSED!

CARNIVAL
The carnival is intended as an affordable community event, with food and entertainment in the cafeteria, and games and activities spread out throughout the building and the grounds. Look for a Western Roundup theme once again this year.

SPIRIT WEAR – SCHOOL COLORS AND LOGO’D CLOTHING

ORIGINAL WORKS
Twice a year, generally near Christmas and Mother’s Day, a sample piece of work created by your child as a part of the Art Literacy program will be sent home along with an order form.  Your child’s artwork can be imprinted on products from aprons to clipboards at a reasonable cost.  You may also use any other piece of artwork from your child that you may prefer.  (About a 30% profit)

COIN DRIVE And Penny Wars

REDEMPTION
You can Pay it forward when you shop at Amazon, Fred Meyer and other stores.

RESTAURANT NIGHTS
Local businesses or restaurants partner with the school and agree to donate a portion of their profits on a given night.  You get to have a night out, and the school gets something back.  Watch for flyers to be sent home as each event comes closer.  The first of these events is all day on September 14th at Bullwinkle’s in Wilsonville.
