We are so excited to kick off our 2nd annual Byrom Read-A-Thon on September 19th! The Byrom Read-A-Thon is an event that encourages students to become better readers. This is also one of our largest fundraisers of the year. Families can sign up for PledgeStar for on-line donations and students will also receive a pledge sheet and envelope to collect donations. Money raised will go towards the Byrom PSO general fund, which funds art literacy, field trips, assemblies, family events, classroom supplies and so much more. Our goal is to raise $20,000. As students reach reading and fundraising goals they will earn individual prizes, class prizes and even school wide prizes. We hope every student enjoys this year’s read-a-thon! Our week of reading starts Monday, September 26th and goes to Sunday, October 2nd. This is also our spirit week! Check out your Read-A-Thon Packetfor all of these important dates and information.
